The Spades card game is a classic card game played by two teams of players with a standard 52-card deck.
Instructions for playing Spades:
:Each player bids the number of tricks he expects to take at the beginning of the game.
Spades is played in teams, the bids by each member of each team are added together.
Rank of suits and cards:
Spades are trump in the game. A card of the suit led in the current round beats a card of another suit except Spades.
Cards are ranked as follows; Highest to lowest: Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2
Spades game play:
Spades are the trump card in this game of cards. The player who played the highest value card wins a trick. If one or more spades were played the trump card wins, otherwise the highest card of the leading suit wins the round. During the game players must follow suit, if they can't another card may be played. Players may not lead Spades until a Spade card has been played to trump a trick in the game.
